Awarded best NEW Irish Cheese at the CAIS - Irish Farmhouse Cheese Awards 2024 and Silver at the British and Irish Cheese Awards 2025. 2024. This is a delicious creamy limited edition Irish farmhouse cheese made in small batches using fresh creamy cow's milk from Michaels's uncle Micheál Waldron's (RIP) farm. The farm is now run by his son Domhnall, and this is where Michael grew up, enjoying hours in the townland of Cloonbook. The Cloonbook farm has been in the Waldron family for generations and is also where Michaels's mother, Mary (RIP), was born and raised. So the name Cloonbook is the perfect one for this cheese and evokes strong and emotional memories for many. Cloonbook is a semi-hard mild creamy cheese with milky, buttery undertones and is matured for a minimum of 10 weeks. We'd love your feedback when you get a chance to try it!

Joseph J. ★★★★★

That creamy texture really sets it apart—spreads beautifully on a warm cracker and melts just enough to feel indulgent. I bought it on the strength of the CAIS award and it genuinely lives up to the hype, gone in two sittings.

Grace ★★★★★

The award pedigree is legit—this one took silver at the British and Irish Cheese Awards 2025, and you can taste why in every bite. It’s creamy but with a nice tang that keeps you coming back for another slice. Wish it wasn’t limited edition, honestly.

Julian ★★★★★

The creaminess is on another level—it melts on the tongue with that rich, farmhouse tang I’ve been chasing. You can really taste why it snagged the award for best new Irish cheese, and the 130g block is perfect for a few generous servings.
