Awarded best NEW Irish Cheese at the CAIS - Irish Farmhouse Cheese Awards 2024 and Silver at the British and Irish Cheese Awards 2025. 2024. This is a delicious creamy limited edition Irish farmhouse cheese made in small batches using fresh creamy cow's milk from Michaels's uncle Micheál Waldron's (RIP) farm. The farm is now run by his son Domhnall, and this is where Michael grew up, enjoying hours in the townland of Cloonbook. The Cloonbook farm has been in the Waldron family for generations and is also where Michaels's mother, Mary (RIP), was born and raised. So the name Cloonbook is the perfect one for this cheese and evokes strong and emotional memories for many. Cloonbook is a semi-hard mild creamy cheese with milky, buttery undertones and is matured for a minimum of 10 weeks. We'd love your feedback when you get a chance to try it!

Michael ★★★★☆

I opened it for a cheese board last weekend and it was gone before the crackers ran out. The creaminess is exactly what you want from an award winner, and I can see why it took silver at the British and Irish awards. Just wish the 130g block lasted longer.

Timothy E. ★★★★☆

Creamy and rich, just what you want from a farmhouse cheese, and you can taste why it won those awards. Only gripe is the 130g block disappears fast if you're not careful.
